Friday Five

1. Granny's first trip to Biltmore was so much fun! We finally went on Sunday after talking about it for like a year. I'm going to make a more in-depth post about it later with pictures!




2. Beautiful sunset at the church by my house on Monday made me happy :)






3. Starbucks after a loooooong Monday was the only thing that got my coworkers and I through the 8th grade curriculum fair that evening!


4. Me and Brooke's TEN year "friend-versary"... hard to believe we've been friends since Saint Patrick's day of 2006! So happy to have a friend like this to go through the amazingly great and not-so-great parts of this journey of life!





5. A happy Saint Patrick's day with family and good food :)

So I've been posting our story on our "The Knot" site. I've been posting in increments since I wanted to include the full story, but haven't had the time to sit down and type the whole thing! Also, I think people would rather read a little at a time... and it keeps everyone on the edge of their seat!! lol This was the first 'installment' I posted: For several years, they would glance at each other across the sanctuary at Oak View Baptist on Sunday mornings. They knew each other, but they didn't really  know  each other. Beth went to High Point University, and Drew attended North Carolina State University.  Years passed and sometimes they would say hey, but were usually too shy to say much else (yes, Beth Burroughs was shy around boys she thought were really cute). Even when they both accompanied the youth group on church camp trips, they didn't say much to each other. Blah Blah Blah: Ramblings of a Nostalgic College Senior

So I think senioritis has a hold of me in a few different ways.  The main way it is affecting me is making me really emotional.  I honestly didn't think this would happen to me.  I mean, I was really sad to graduate high school when most everyone else was happy and excited.  Then I got to college and didn't like it that much at first.  I was really frustrated because I couldn't decide where to go, and when I finally did, I changed my mind and decided to transfer to HPU.  Well, I regretted that soon after because the whole reason I transferred was because I wanted to live AWAY from home...but after transferring once, it didn't work out to transfer again without losing too many credits, among other reasons.   So I was sour about being stuck in High Point while most of my friends from high school went off to college in different cities and states.  They were out on their own, having fun, and I was stuck living with my parents.  Looking back, i...
